I’ve studied the Rapture for over 40 years. And I have my view. Most of you have looked into the event and come away with your own theory. Pre-Trib, Post-Trib, Mid-Trib, Allegory. Some of you have just given up and marked it down to an unknown experience for some time in the future.

Jesus didn’t want us to be confused. He wanted to make it clear and reassuring. To do this, he spoke using examples that fit his culture. In the case of the Rapture, not just Jewish, but Judean examples. The people of Judea had some differences in their wedding customs from other Jewish and Middle Eastern groups that express the very nature of the rapture and where it falls in the end times scenario.
