The Forgotten Pandemic with Pastor Adam Comer
From addict, to ordained Pastor, to running a recovery center with one of the highest recovery rates in the United States. Listen as Adam Comer speaks about his documentary on addiction, “The Forgotten Pandemic”, and why it is so important to not let this blight go unnoticed. Each one of us can help in some way or ways. Pray, give, serve, refer, expose, mentor. Help in giving addicts a new identity and a new life in Christ.
As an ordained pastor, Adam has played a major role in developing and establishing one of the highest addiction recovery program success rates in the country, and is a highly respected leader around the community and in Middle Tennessee. He also has professional experience in healthcare and mental healthcare fields.
Adam’s studies at Liberty University include religion, ministry leadership, people management, and Christian counseling. In recovery, Adam has truly been set free from the grips of addiction. He went through the program at S2L a decade ago, and now his passions, pursuits and purpose revolve around the belief that all who are weary from life-controlling issues and addiction can be led to freedom.
Adam is also the Executive Producer and Director of The Forgotten Pandemic, a newly released documentary that explores Christ-centered addiction recovery.
Adam is a proud husband to his high school sweetheart, Katie. They have been married since 2008 and have 2 children Elijah and Ellasyn. God called Adam and Katie to Middle Tennessee and they love investing into this community, both personally and professionally.
