Looking for a complete biography of the life of Jesus the Messiah using 100% of the material presented by authors of the 4 gospels but as one chronological story? Rodney Laughlin tried to find one but couldn’t, so he created it along with Susan Tough. He also included other biographical material about Christ from the other books of the Bible. (As well as charts and maps to help the reader)

They also made it to read like a biography. On occasion they added explanatory, fictional material to help the reader understand the context of what is being said or happening. For instance the Sermon on the Mount is presented as a conversation to keep the attention of lost people who are not interested in reading sermons but would respond to a biography. This book is a great addition to our outreach. Creating one book with all of Jesus’ accomplishments. Clarifying the conversations and situations, while writting to encourage non-Christians to stay engaged.

Rod Laughlin

Rod Laughlin became a Christian when he was twenty-eight years old. Desiring to know more about the Bible, he earned an MDiv at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. After serving the Lord as the pastor of two churches and in many other ways for thirty-seven years, he sensed God’s call to put the Bible into modern formats. He has spent the last fourteen years leading a team to create The Readable Bible. Over one-hundred people have worked with him on this project.
