The 7 Churches of Revelation: Times of Fire

Over the years I have read many thoughts on the meaning of Christ’s messages to the 7 churches in Revelation. From simple warnings of the day to the type of Christian communities that represent the flow of church history until Jesus returns.

What I found powerful about this movie is that it is more about what was going on in each of the cities Jesus spoke to and how we can connect those trends and traits to our own world. More than a blog, I’m writing to say, watch this documentary, it’s worth it. You will get a feel for why things became the way they did and relatable insight to what is happening in the world of our churches today. Plus, the author goes to Patmos and the cities, which, at least for me, makes it even more real and relevant.
